Microscan MS-860 raster scanner - The MS-860 is an industrial raster barcode scanner which makes reading bar codes and stacked 2D codes easy. Push-button calibration and a fully programmable feature set enable you to quickly and easily configure the scanner to meet your needs. Raster settings are programmable to read multiple symbols at different locations or at varying distances. Easy to setup, the MS-860's push-button setup will save installers of all skill levels valuable time. Pressing the EZ button initiates the calibration process to optimised the MS-860's settings for each bar code type and setup. This maximizes performance and can be done onsite. By combining flexible features with ease of use, the MS-860 is adaptable to a wide variety of bar code applications across multiple industries with operators of varying experience levels. Together with the MS890 and MS820, the MS860 provides a range of industrial barcode scanners with read range up to 3 metres and scan rates in excess of 1000 per second.

MS-3 CCD
At up to 270 decodes per second, the MS-3 CCD offers the best read performance in its class of embedded compact CCD readers. Advanced CCD technology coupled with proprietary algorithms makes reading small, damaged, or poorly printed symbols routine. The ultra-compact size and wide read angle allow for flexible mounting and positioning when embedded into OEM instruments.

Capable of decoding 2,000 scans per second in real time, the MS-9 delivers a decode rate unmatched among small fixed mount scanners.

Ideal for high speed applications, the MS-9's superior processing also benefits other applications by providing multiple looks at a given label, which ensures data integrity. This versatile scanner reads all standard bar codes including RSS. The MS-9 also has options that can read invisible ink or OMR (Optical Mark Recognition). Easily integrated into existing machinery, the MS-9's ultra-compact size and shape allow for flexible mounting and positioning. Although designed to meet the requirements of high speed processing, the MS-9 offers broad market appeal to many industries.

MS-4 Ultra-compact imager

The MS-4 is designed specifically for embedded bar code applications. It is the ideal imager for OEM design engineers who need to read 2D codes in tight spaces, while still requiring 100% data integrity.

Currently the world’s smallest high performance imager, the MS-4’s ultra-compact size and wide angle optics provide the widest scan window available for reading any code at close range. EZ button setup, symbol locator, and visible performance indicators provide ease of use while

omni directional reading and form factor allow for positioning flexibility.

Microscan Easy Set-up Program (ESP) comes free with every scanner and reader. It is Microscan's ESP proprietary WindowsT based graphic user interface that allows the user to fully configure, test, and operate Microscan readers. Current version enables bar codes or datamatrix codes to be generated to program the Quadrus EZ without connecting to a PC. Symbol quality in line with IAQG and AIM standards can be output.
