MSQ Quadrus handheld wireless 1D & 2D scanner - The MS-Q Quadrus Imagers are optimised to read bar codes and 2D symbols that use direct part mark (DPM) methods. It is the most aggressive hand held bar code scanner system available for decoding symbols on low contrast substrates such as metal, plastic, rubber, and glass with marking methods such as dot peen and laser/chemical etch. Change from 1D to 2D at the press of a button. Containing custom optics and Microscan's Quadrus decode algorithms, the MS-Q Quadrus combines the power of Microscan's popular smart camera Quadrus EZ into a portable hand held bar code scanner

MS-Q Quadrus® Handheld Imager
The MS-Q Quadrus Imagers are optimized to read bar codes and 2D symbols that use direct part mark (DPM) methods. It is the most aggressive handled imager available for decoding symbols on low contrast substrates such as metal, plastic, rubber, and glass with marking methods such as dot peen and laser/chemical etch.
Containing custom optics and Microscan's Quadrus decode algorithms, the MS-Q Quadrus combines the power of Microscan's popular smart camera Quadrus EZ into a portable handled device.

Applications:
Automotive, aerospace and the defense industries are actively tracing all parts with bar codes or 2D symbols. The most common practices are to permanently imprint a Data Matrix or bar code symbols directly into the metal component surfaces.

Electronic manufacturers now track virtually all printed circuit boards and most components by small bar codes or Data Matrix symbols, typically marked by laser or etched methods.

Ease of Use:
All MS-Q imagers feature point-and-click targeting with a red laser spot to quickly centre the symbol in the field of view. Beeper, vibrator or multi-purpose LEDs provide real-time feedback to signal successful decoding.

Batch: A wireless way to collect thousands of decoded symbols for later download, capable of performing (4000+ reads *1950 mAH Battery & 8000+ reads *3900 mAH Battery ) from a single charge and buffer a minimum of 1MB of data in non-volatile memory.

Cabled: Cabled units can be connected two ways: USB and RS-232

Bluetooth: Wireless data transmission using Bluetooth™ class 1 radio with a 328' (100 m) operation range

MS-Q Basic Handheld Imager
Microscan's MS-Q line of handled imagers has been redesigned with a new rugged handle. Other improvements include increased drop shock protection, multiple handle options, improved LED and optics protection and revised firmware.

Read Area:
The MS-Q Basic imager's advanced "dual-decode zone" technology allows the user to easily capture 2D symbols and linear bar codes at varying distances from 2 to 20" (50.8 to 508 mm). This wide read area allows the symbols to be decoded fast and reliably.

Lightning fast processing speeds also add to the MS-Q's ability to acquire and decode multiple symbologies within seconds of each other, with no adjustment of the imager required.

Ease of Use:
All MS-Q imagers feature point-and-click targeting with a red laser spot to quickly centre the symbol in the field of view. Beeper, vibrator or multi-purpose LEDs provide real-time feedback to signal successful decodes.

Secured Version:
The MS-Q Quadrus imager is available in a secured version with disabled image capture and downloading. Permanent removal of its photographic functions will allow use of this portable imager within sensitive industrial areas where photographic devices are prohibited.

Applications:
The MS-Q Basic imager is a strong reading solution for any application needing to read linear bar codes and 2D symbologies with a portable handled device.
